The groundbreaking reality competition series Beast Games quickly became the most-watched unscripted series in Amazon Prime history, claiming a breathtaking 40 Guinness World Records and amassing 50 million viewers within just 25 days of its premiere. Created by MrBeast — who is no stranger to breaking records, as he currently holds the title for the most YouTube subscribers — the 10-episode series follow 1,000 contestants who compete in physical, mental and social challenges, for the grand prize of $5 million.
“Producing the largest competition show in history requires not just a dedicated team, but the absolute best in the industry” said Michael Miller, Co-Executive Producer of Beast Games. “When I embarked on Beast Games, assembling a world-class crew of highly skilled professionals was my top priority. One of my first calls was to Jason Farrell at PRG. Having worked together for over a decade, Jason has consistently proven to be more than just a vendor—he is a true partner and de facto project manager. His unwavering commitment, available at any hour, ensures that every detail is meticulously managed.”
PRG worked closely with MrBeast and the production team to transition the show from YouTube to a full-scale streaming series, leveraging our deep history and expertise in large-scale productions.
“PRG has consistently delivered exceptional results, playing a pivotal role in enabling me to meet show budgets without compromise,” Miller said. “Whether I’m working in the U.S. or abroad, I trust them not only for top-tier gear but also for sending some of the most talented technicians in the business. I am deeply grateful for their continued support and reliability. Thank you, PRG, for always having my back.”
Fifteen 53-foot semi-trucks transported an extensive inventory of video, audio, LED, and camera equipment—including over 325 cameras from ARRI, Sony, Blackmagic, and Panasonic—with a staggering five miles of fiber infrastructure.
PRG also set up two massive control rooms spanning three locations with a team of specialists who pushed the limits of technology. By utilizing a variety of broadcast equipment — including 3 Evertz NEXX routers, EQX16 Routers, and over 40 Riedel Micron UHD — we were able to capture every moment of this high-stakes competition.
“PRG’s incredibly talented technical teams made it possible to bring Beast Games to life on such a massive scale,” said Jason Farrell, PRG’s Vice President of Sales. “The level of collaboration, innovation, and execution from our team was outstanding, and it was incredible to see everything come together for such a successful show. It was truly an honor to work with MrBeast and his production team—they were the most professional team and an absolute pleasure to collaborate with. Their dedication to their teams and their commitment to upholding a high-quality production was evident in every aspect of the show.”
As Beast Games makes history PRG is proud to have played a key role in its success. Congratulations to MrBeast, his entire team and to everyone who helped bring this colossal show to life.
